Accompanying Pynch's recent shimmering dreampop tune 'Disco Lights' on their limited edition Speedy Wunderground 7" (out 13th December), comes a dizzying rework by budding musician and mix engineer Orla Carey. Continuing their welcome habit of consistently breaking their own rules, the maverick label have chosen to treat us all to an early listen via Soundcloud and we're very glad they did. At only 15 years old, Orla's 'Pynch Your Lights Out Dub' version on the track shows natural talent and flair. Picking out the grooviest sections of the bass lines paired against a ravey vocal loop and bleeting electronics, which ascend in a satisfying sequence that'll transport you to a dimly dance floor in the early hours of the morning.
